“46 settlements in the Kherson region have already been liberated, most of them are in the north (of the region – ed.), which borders the Dnipropetrovsk region, and some in the south, on the border with the Mykolaiv region,” Butriy emphasized.

According to him, there are villages in the territories liberated from the occupiers, which are destroyed by 90% and are under constant Russian shelling.

Butriy also urged the population to be evacuated to safer regions.

“In order to protect your lives, I recommend you to be evacuated to safer areas before the full liberation of the region,” he added.

In addition, on July 31, Ukrainian marines captured 11 Russian soldiers, including one officer, in the Kherson region.
