“Ukrainian soldiers are about to start training on the territory of Great Britain. Crews of heavy artillery systems are already being trained, and tankers will arrive soon,” said an  Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain Vadym Prystaiko.

According to Vadym Prystaiko, it will not take much time because, as noted by the British instructors, Ukrainian servicemen are motivated and master weapons very quickly.

“When we train infantrymen here (you know, we have already trained 10,000 in 2022, and from the beginning of the new year we started the training of another 20,000), it takes five weeks. It is difficult to say how many tankers will have to be trained — especially since they include gunners, mechanics, and commanders. I think that in a month or a half they can manage. If necessary, training will be continued as it was before,” added an Ambassador of Ukraine to Britain.

Vadym Prystaiko also informed that British tanks were already being prepared for shipment to Ukraine.
