One Ukrainian soldier was wounded in militant shelling in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone in the past day, according to a defense ministry spokesman.
”No Ukrainian soldiers were killed in fighting in the last day. Yet, one was wounded in an attack on the town of Avdiyivka,” spokesman for the Ukrainian Defense Ministry for ATO issues Andriy Lysenko said.
Yesterday, the situation remained tense in the ATO zone, he said. The Russian occupation forces fired small arms on Ukrainian troops. Further, mortars were used in the Donetsk sector four times.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian troops were attacked 29 times in the past 24 hours, the ATO headquarters said.
