A 25-years-old Ukrainian soldier was gunned down by a sniper in the Avdiyivka industrial zone in Donbas, Ukrainian news service TSN reported, citing its sources.
A battle lasted for a few hours the night before. The militants fired from machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades and banned mortars, according to the report.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 25 times in the past 24 hours, including eight times in the Mariupol sector, eight times in the Donetsk sector and nine times in the Luhansk sector.
