Ukrainian Foreign Minister to meet Tillerson in Washington D.C. March 7

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin will pay a working visit to Washington, D.C. March 6-7, where he is scheduled to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Tillerson, as well as representatives of the U.S. Administration and Congress, according to the MFA Ukraine press service.

Klimkin`s visit is aimed to provide an additional impetus to the intensive political dialogue between Ukraine and the United States in the debate on a wide range of practical issues of the Ukrainian-American strategic partnership in the context of the restoration of Ukraine`s territorial integrity and sovereignty, according to the report.

The parties will also discuss the prospects of Washington`s support for the progressive promotion of Ukraine`s internal reforms.

Earlier, recently Petro Poroshenko discussed with U.S. Secretary of State the issue of strategic partnership and countering Russian aggression.
