Ukrainian forces destroyed 60% of kamikaze drones that Russia used against Ukraine

Oleksiy Hromov, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that Russia has already used a total of 86 kamikaze drones of the Shahed-136 type to strike Ukraine, but 60% of them were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

“This night, the forces and means of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 9 out of 12 Iranian-made kamikaze drones. Russia used in total 86 units of unmanned kamikaze aerial vehicles of the Shahed-136 type, 60% of which were destroyed by the Ukrainian army.”

Oleksiy Hromov added that Russian troops would continue to terrorize the civilian population of Ukraine with the threat of using missiles, aviation and UAVs, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold the sky over our country, making every effort to minimize the consequences of Russian shelling.
