Ukrainian Australians are planning protests at the G20 summit that will be attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, Australian national radio ABC has reported.
“Ukrainian Australians are planning protests at the G20 in Brisbane next month, following confirmation that Russian president Vladimir Putin will attend the summit,” reads the statement.
As reported, the G20 summit is to be held in the Australian city of Brisbane on November 15-16. Some politicians expressed doubt about the expediency of Putin’s invitation because of Moscow’s role in the events in eastern Ukraine.
