Ukrainian army eliminated 14 Russian soldiers, 2 drones and 2 guns in the south

The Operational Command Pivden (South) reported on April 1, 2023, that the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a Russian motor boat, which Russian troops had converted for a sabotage-reconnaissance group, and a field storage point for ammunition in the south of Ukraine.

“As a result of our combat work on the left bank, a stronghold and a field ammunition storage point were destroyed, Russian losses in the amount of 14 soldiers, 10 units of weapons and equipment were confirmed: two large-calibre Giatsint-B towed guns, two Mavic UAVs used for both reconnaissance and grenade dropping, one tank and four other armored vehicles, one light motorboat converted for the reconnaissance group,” noted the Operational Command Pivden (South).

In addition, the Russian army continued to attack the right bank of the Kherson region with guided aerial bombs, and also used the Lancet attack drone on March 31, 2023. Russian artillery worked more than 50 times. Fortunately, civilians and critical infrastructure were not affected.

The Ukrainian army eliminated about 173,990 Russian servicemen from February 24, 2022, to April 1, 2023.
