Ukrainian aircraft shot down 7 Russian drones, helicopter and 2 missiles on August 21

Ukrainian bombers and attack aircraft carried out about ten airstrikes against armored vehicles, platoon and company strongholds, positions of multiple-launch rocket systems, anti-aircraft missile systems, manpower and enemy logistics on August 21, 2022.

Ukrainian aviation destroyed a Ka-52 helicopter, seven drones and two cruise “Kalibr” missiles belonging to the Russian army.

“On August 21, anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven operational-tactical level unmanned aerial vehicles, two “Kalibr” cruise missiles and a Ka-52 helicopter belonging to  Russian occupiers.”

Earlier it was reported about the destruction of three enemy drones on August 21, with which the Russians were spying in the Kherson region (south of Ukraine).

On August 20, around 10 a.m. in the Dnipropetrovsk region (central Ukraine), the anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four “Kalibr” cruise missiles that occupiers had fired from the Black Sea.
