Ukraine`s industrial goods sales in January-June 2016 amounted to UAH 796.6 billion, which is 12.1% higher than the same period last year, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported.
Industrial goods sales in the processing industry, which accounted for 64.6% of the total sales volume in H1, amounted to UAH 515.052 billion, according to the State Statistics Service`s data.
Sales in the mining and quarrying sectors stood at UAH 98.429 billion (12.4% of the total sales volumes).
Sales in sectors such as power, gas and conditioned air supplies (21.9% of the total sales volumes) amounted to UAH 174.404 billion.
The highest sales in the period under review were recorded in Dnipropetrovsk region – UAH 147.532 billion, Donetsk region – UAH 91.544 billion, and the city of Kyiv – UAH 70.009 billion.
As UNIAN reported earlier, industrial goods sales in Ukraine in 2015 amounted to UAH 1.5 trillion, which was higher by UAH 304.926 billion, or 25.5%, compared with sales of UAH 1.119 trillion recorded in 2014.
