Ukraine’s Foreign Minister discussed with the EP President creation of a special tribunal for Russia

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, coordinated with the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the steps to establish a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine. He reported this on Twitter on March 21, 2023.

“In my call with European Parliament President Roberta Metsola, I encouraged the European Parliament to keep up its vital role in tackling impunity. Following the relevant European Parliament’s resolution, we coordinated steps toward creating a Special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine,” tweeted the Foreign Minister of Ukraine.

The President of the European Parliament also reported about her call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

“Spoke with Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba. Reiterated European Parliament’s pledge for justice against war crimes. Welcomed ICC arrest warrant. Unlawfully deported children must be returned to Ukraine & their families. Also renewed call for the creation of a Special Tribunal,” said Roberta Metsola.
