NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine will make a prepayment to Russian Gazprom by the end of this week for gas to the amount of 1 billion cu m.
Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Prodan said, Apostrophe informs.
“I think that by the end of the week we will make a prepayment,” he said.
Prodan also noted that proceeding from the gas price, the prepayment amount will make up USD 378 million. According to the agreement, gas will start coming in two days after the payment is made, he added.
