The official has recalled that a Ukrainian coast patrol vessel was provocatively attacked recently by Russian planes. The fact that the attack was recorded is one of the very best examples of the ministry`s work – to accumulate facts for further presentation as evidence in court. That`s because international judicial organizations will never accept arguments as ”everybody knows that”, said Tuka.

Tuka stressed that the Ukrainian side had collected materials in order to ”prove the fact of illegal mining of Ukrainian resources which are recognized by the world the territorial waters exclusively of the economic zone of Ukraine.”

”Having the evidence at hand, the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are preparing a lawsuit against the Russian Federation, and the amounts are in billions,” he said.
