Ukraine seeks cancellation of anti-dumping measures in EEU via WTO

Ukraine has demanded at a meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Committee on Anti-Dumping Practices that the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), namely Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, cancel anti-dumping measures against Ukrainian rods and steel pipes.
Ukraine also demanded the termination of an investigation by the EEU in respect of ferrosilicon manganese, the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry`s press service said.
According to the report, the delegation of Ukraine to the WTO informed the Committee that the relevant anti-dumping measures had been taken in violation of the WTO norms and rules.
The delegations of the EEU member states did not respond to the issues raised, pledging to provide answers in writing.
In addition, during the meeting Ukraine appealed to Pakistan and India, seeking the review and cancellation of their anti-dumping measures against steel products originating from Ukraine.
