Ukraine reports 3 WIA, 1 slightly injured in past 24 hours

Three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded and one suffered slight injuries while fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.

”There were three wounded in action (WIA), while one suffered slight injuries,” Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, declared at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.

According to him, the military personnel were wounded in the villages of Stanytsia Luhanska and Krymske and the town of Maryinka.
Another soldier suffered slight injuries in the town of Krasnohorivka during a mortar attack.

Lysenko said the enemy also suffered losses.

”One occupier was killed and another three were wounded over the past day. These are militants from the so-called Third Brigade of the Russian occupational forces stationed in the town of Horlivka,” he said.
