“Every day we work and negotiate to increase aid. For example, today we will approve the terms of the financial support from the Government of Canada of almost $ 800 million. Our Canadian friends have previously provided support of almost $ 400 million, and we are grateful for these important funds for Ukraine, “Shmygal said.

According to the Prime Minister, the government continues to develop joint projects with European partners. Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft agreement with the European Union, which provides for the allocation of 330 million euros to Ukraine.

Shmygal also thanked European partners for agreeing on the 6th package of sanctions against Russia, which includes a partial oil embargo. According to the Prime Minister, the Kremlin regime could lose from 10 to 25 billion dollars from this decision, and this will further deprive it of the opportunity to finance the war against Ukraine.
