“We certainly provide all the information, we work with partners to ensure that the sanctions [against the Russian Federation – ed.] are constantly expanded,” the Ambassador responded to the question of whether there is interaction with the US authorities in order to strengthen sanctions against the Russian Federation.

According to the diplomat, the work is being carried out both in relation to Russian banks and other legal entities and individuals in the Russian Federation, as well as companies and organizations that provided assistance to the Russians in the recent attacks.

Oksana Markarova noted that in recent weeks, restrictions were introduced against Iran, as well as countries and companies involved in the production of military drones transferred to Russians.

She emphasized that sometimes restrictions could be introduced faster, and sometimes it takes more time, “because we want these sanctions to have a real impact, and no courts can cancel these restrictions.”

“Our point of view is that Russia should be isolated as much as possible, and sanctions should be expanded, and we are certainly working on new packages,” the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States noted.
