Ukraine intel: Russia plotting to discredit OSCE SMM Deputy Chief

Russian officers in Donbas are planning to launch an information campaign to discredit OSCE Principal Deputy Chief Monitor in Ukraine Alexander Hug, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reports.

”Taking into account the growing influence of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (OSCE SMM) to Ukraine in the temporarily occupied territories of the east of Ukraine, the officers of the Russian Center for information warfare (Novocherkassk, Russia) of the Center for territorial forces of the Southern Military District of the Russian armed forces, deployed in the Headquarters of the 1st (Donetsk) and 2nd (Luhansk) Army Corps of the Russian Federation, are continuing to discredit the OSCE officials. On March 28, they are planning to launch an information campaign to discredit OSCE Principal Deputy Chief Monitor in Ukraine Alexander Hug,” the intelligence said.
As UaPosition reported earlier, the OSCE mission to Ukraine includes 723 monitors.
