Ukraine has already exported 120,000 tons of grain under the UN program

The press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported on September 22, 2022, that the fourth ship chartered by the UN World Food Program left the port of Odesa. BC VANESSA ship transports 30,000 tons of wheat for the population of Afghanistan.

Ukraine has already exported 120,000 tons of grain under the UN World Food Program, in particular to Ethiopia, Yemen and Afghanistan.

“As part of the work of the UN World Food Program, 120,000 tons of wheat have already been exported from Ukrainian ports, in particular, food aid has been sent to the population of Ethiopia, Yemen and Afghanistan. We would like to emphasize that our priority is the prompt reception, loading and dispatch of ships with food aid to the population that is on the verge of starvation,” the press service notes.

It should be noted, that 192 ships with 4.38 million tons of agricultural products have already left Ukrainian seaports since the beginning of the implementation of the “grain initiative”.
