Separation of the Russian and Ukrainian teams in the playoff stage of the European Football Cup finals in France, should both win the group stage, is ruled out, Russian Sports Minister, Russian Football Union President Vitaly Mutko has told the media, according to TASS.
”Nobody will separate the teams. There will be no politics involved,” Mutko said, TASS wrote.
In group B, Russia will play against England, Slovakia and Wales. Ukraine`s rivals in Group C will be Germany, Poland and Northern Ireland. The European Cup in France will take place June 10 – July 10.
