The Ukrainian army repelled 8 Russian attacks and eliminated reconnaissance group in the east

Ukrainian troops continue to repel enemy attacks. The head of the Luhansk region said that the Ukrainian army eliminated a Russian reconnaissance group and repelled eight attacks in the Russian-occupied Luhansk region (east of Ukraine) on August 14, 2022.

“Russians are using attack and army aircraft more actively on the front line – three populated areas were fired at from the air. They also fired seven rockets. During the night, the enemy’s barrel artillery worked seven times. Russians shelled cities and villages four times with rocket launchers, and six times with mortars. Four tank offensives were carried out.”

In addition, occupiers are increasingly trying to conduct reconnaissance of the front edge of the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“However, on August 14, eight enemy attacks were successfully repelled. Our military neutralized the Russian reconnaissance group.”

The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration added that in the cities of the Luhansk region captured by the Russian Federation, people are gradually losing confidence in the occupation authorities.
