The telephone conversation between leaders of ‘Normandy Four’

On February 15, 2015, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, and French President Francois Hollande held a telephone conversation in the Normandy format about the Minsk agreements.

As it is known from the Ukrainian President’s official website, the European leaders discussed the violating of the cease-fire by Pro-Russian terrorists and the work of the the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission:

“Common position of the Normandy format is that the ceasefire should take place all over the collision line, including the area of Debaltseve.

President Poroshenko has underlined that the heavy weaponry withdrawal should be launched only following the comprehensive and unconditional ceasefire.

Petro Poroshenko, Angela Merkel, Francois Hollande and Vladimir Putin have stressed that the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission should be allowed to carry out its work in Debaltseve, Donetsk region in order to monitor and verify the ceasefire.” – is said on the official President’s website

On Monday, February 16, 2015, Negotiations in the Normandy format will be continued.
