During the recent day, intensity of attacks has decreased in the ATO area, but militants did not stop storming positions of Ukrainian security forces.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In general, in Luhansk region and in the south of Donetsk region the intensity of attacks slightly decreased yesterday. Activity of militants was concentrated near Donetsk and Debaltseve and in Popasnyansky district of Luhansk region,” Lysenko said.
According to him, positions of the ATO forces were fired with Grad rocket launchers near the village of Novotroyitske and near the village of Kamianka, Donetsk region.
“Near the village of Ridkodub in Shakhtarsk district, terrorists fired our soldiers four times with artillery, mortars and tanks, then our forces repelled the assault of the militants. Another assault of the checkpoint was repulsed near the village of Ozerianivka, Horlivka City Council. Terrorists have suffered losses,” the Spokesman for the NSDC Information-Analytical Center said.
Also, yesterday, another assault was repelled at the Donetsk airport, which is heroically kept by our military.
