Russian forces and terrorists, who are struggling to capture the Donetsk airport, retreated and restore combat capability.
Head of the Center of Political and Military Studies Dmytro Tymchuk wrote on Facebook.
“Subdivisions of Russian-terrorist troops, who took part in the assault the Donetsk airport, are withdrawn deep into military dispositions to restore combat capability,” he said.
Tymchuk added that during the talks of Ukrainian military with terrorists and Russians an agreement was reached on mutual evacuation of the dead and wounded. “However, to the north of this area, using artillery shelling continues,” he noted.
