“As for the destruction, it is significant. Some stations stopped working. It takes a long time to restore them. The destruction is serious,” said the Executive director of “DTEK Energo”.

Dmytro Saharuk added that 5 thermal power plants of DTEK were damaged as a result of Russian shelling. According to him, DTEK power engineers are doing everything possible to restore the operation of destroyed facilities as soon as possible.

According to the Executive director of “DTEK Energo”, Russians are destroying not only generation facilities, but also centers that allow the final consumer to transfer electricity produced at power plants.

“The shelling of Ukraine’s energy facilities is conducted by energy workers from Russia. That is, military receives advice from Russian energy workers about exactly where to hit and how to destroy the Ukrainian energy system,” concluded Dmytro Saharuk.
