Slovenia sent to Ukraine the fourth shipment of energy equipment, which includes 88 transformers, 3 generators and other devices needed by the energy industry on December 29, 2022. Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Taran and the Minister of Infrastructure of Slovenia Bojan Kumer took part in the sending ceremony on December 29.

“9 Slovenian companies united around the call of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Slovenia and prepared a total of 88 transformers of various capacities, 3 generators, isolators, voltage switches and other energy equipment to Ukraine,” reported the Embassy of Ukraine in Slovenia.

Ukrainian diplomats reported that the first two trucks with Slovenian assistance have already arrived at “Khmelnytskoblenergo” (The company is engaged in the distribution of electricity to consumers of the Khmelnytskyi region of Ukraine) and will soon be distributed according to the needs of the regions.

Ambassador of Ukraine Andriy Taran and the Minister of Infrastructure of Slovenia Bojan Kumer took part in the energy equipment sending ceremony on December 29, 2022.

The Embassy noted that the Minister of Infrastructure of Slovenia emphasized in a speech at the event that Slovenia planned to continue to help Ukraine according to its ability as long as it is needed.

The ambassador of Ukraine thanked Slovenia for its humanitarian aid and drew attention to how symbolic it is today, when Russia once again carried out a massive missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine.
