Slovakia announces loss of 10% of Russian gas transit

Slovak recipient and distributor of Russian gas, company Slovensky plynarensky priemysel (SPP), announced the reduction of Russian gas in the amount of about 10%.
RIA Novosti informs.
“The company SPP observed on Monday, September 29, reduction of Russian gas at around 10%,” company’s official representative Peter Bednar said.
According to him, in the second half of September, daily short supplies of gas were approximately 5% to 20%.
Earlier, Minister of Economy of Slovakia Pavol Pavlis reported that the Slovak side has received an explanation of Gazprom that the failure to comply with requests for gas supply is technical in nature.
