Savchenko to be transferred to prison clinic and face new criminal case

Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko will be transferred to a prison clinic because of rapid weight loss. In addition, the Federal Security Service of Russia started a new criminal case on her.
Savchenko’s lawyer Ilya Novikov reported the news on his Twitter on Thursday.
“A bad news. Nadiya Savchenko is to be transferred to Matrosskaya Tishina prison clinic today. She began to lose weight rapidly. Another bad news. The FSB started the criminal case on Nadiya Savchenko for illegal Russian border crossing. Article 322 of the Russian Criminal Code,” he said in his post.
As Ukrinform reported, Russia’s Investigative Committee adduced evidence of the innocence of Ukraine’s Member of Parliament Nadiya Savchenko to her case.
