Ukrainian MP Nadia Savchenko is on hunger strike to protest the inaction of the Ukrainian government on the release of Ukrainians in captivity.
”I`ve tried many methods to fight for these guys, like the world fought for me. Now I will fight for them as I fought for myself. One of the mechanisms to accelerate my release was a hunger strike to protest the inaction of the Ukrainian authorities,” Savchenko said at a press conference at UNIAN.
”From today, I once again declare a hunger strike over the inactivity of the pro-government all over the world for the liberation of Ukrainians in captivity. The hunger strike will continue until the date of a positive result,” she added.
