Ukrainian female pilot Nadia Savchenko who has been illegally convicted in Russia may return to Ukraine this afternoon, according to the source of Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper.
According to the newspaper`s source, the plane carrying Nadia Savchenko will depart from the Russian Federation simultaneously with another aircraft, which will carry Russian GRU officers Alexander Alexandrov and Yevgeny Yerofeev, who were granted pardon by the Ukrainian president Reuters`s source said.
The source said Nadia Savchenko may arrive in Ukraine within few hours.
In addition, as reported by kommersant.ru, citing its own sources, the exchange of the Ukrainian pilot for Yerofeyev and Alexandrov could take place in the airport of Rostov-on-Don in the next two hours.
The presidential administration refrains from comment regarding the situation.
