Russians once again fired at a energy facility in the south of Ukraine

“The situation with electricity supply in the front-line regions in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult due to significant damage to power grids during hostilities. In addition, at night Russians shelled one of the generation facilities in the south of the country. Currently, the power system is unable to cover consumption in full due to the damage and occupation by the Russian army of a number of power plants that produce electricity, including the most powerful Zaporizhzhia NPP,” explained the national power company “Ukrenergo”.

According to “Ukrenergo”, electricity producers and distribution system operators of Ukraine are constantly working to restore damaged facilities hit by Russian missile and drone attacks.
