Russian troops shelled the Kherson region: there are wounded, including a 15-year-old boy

The Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that Russian soldiers shelled the liberated part of the Kherson region. On Friday, January 20, 2023, the Russian army attacked two settlements, as a result of which two civilians were injured, including a minor boy.

“A 15-year-old boy was wounded during an artillery attack on the village of Antonivka. As a result of shelling of the village of Nova Dmytrivka, Oleksandrivka district, 1 person was injured – his leg was torn off,” explained the Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine.

According to Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the victims are currently being provided with all necessary medical assistance.

Yaroslav Yanushevych, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration later noted that 4 civilians were wounded as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region on January 20, 2023.

“Yesterday, 4 residents of the Kherson region received injuries of varying degrees of severity. Two people were blown up by a Russian mine, among them a 16-year-old boy. Two were wounded by the Russian army, including a 15-year-old boy,” added Yaroslav Yanushevych.
