“This is seizing or burning books, training teaching staff, and imposing school programs according to Russian educational legislation. These are the so-called peace lectures, in which the “denazification” has already been discussed, “no Ukraine exists” and other Russian narratives. These are crimes against Ukrainian citizens!”

The Ukrainian Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language stated that the phenomenon of “linguicide” encompassed not only education, but also television and radio broadcasting, information to general familiarization (replacing signs), print media, and other spheres.

“We have collected a lot of materials. All of them have been summarized and transferred to international human rights organizations and law enforcement agencies, to the Commissioner for Human Rights of the European Court of Human Rights, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.”

He expressed his belief that the collected materials will be included in the international lawsuit against the Russian Federation.
