Russian troops caused losses of $270M to Ukraine’s farm enterprise

The People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharenko noted on November 14, 2022, that Russian troops destroyed and looted the agricultural base of the company “Ukrlandfarming” in the Kherson region (south of Ukraine), causing losses of 250-270 million dollars.

According to the People’s Deputy,  Russian soldiers took away 100,000 tons of sunflower and corn seeds, and stole harvesters, tractors and unmanned aerial vehicles for land cultivation.

“In addition, almost everything that was on the territory of the base was looted: fuel and lubricant materials, seed material, and plant protection products worth 60 million dollars,” added the People’s Deputy of Ukraine.

According to the People’s Deputy of Ukraine, damages are estimated to be worth from $250 to 270 million.

In addition, Russian soldiers damaged the largest poultry factory in Europe, “Chornobayivska”, which belongs to the “UkrLandFarming” company. More than 4 million adult chickens and about 700,000 young chickens died without the possibility of disposing of them.
