Ukrainian border guards and customs officers have not started the customs clearance procedures of Russian humanitarian aid on August 19, because the militants still have not provided security guarantees.
Spokesman of the Information-Analytical Center of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko said.
“The Ukrainian side has not yet received documentation on the cargo contents. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine only a list of delegates, who will accompany the cargo of humanitarian aid across the Ukrainian-Russian border,” he said.
However, according to the Spokesman, the ICRC representatives have not yet received security guarantees.
