Russia undermined Euro-Atlantic security – NATO secretary general

This year was marked by aggression, crisis and conflict, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said.
He said this at his monthly press conference on Monday, Ukrinform’s correspondent in Brussels reported.
“2014 has been a year of aggression, crisis and conflict. But NATO stands strong. Russia’s aggressive actions have undermined Euro-Atlantic security,” Stoltenberg said.
He noted that while efforts for a lasting peace continued, NATO saw a significant military build-up in and around Ukraine.
Stoltenberg said that Russia made large transfers of Russian advanced weapons, equipment and military personnel to violent separatists in eastern Ukraine.
