Russia to lose $45.5 bln as oil prices plunge
Russia’s budget will be short of RUB 3 trillion, if the oil price will remain at the level of USD 50 per barrel.
This was announced by Russia’s finance minister Anton Siluanov, an Ukrinform correspondent in Russia has reported.
“If to assess the current year, taking the average oil price of USD 50 per barrel, which is now even higher, our loss of income will be about 3 trillion rubles,” he said.
According to Siluanov, the situation will deteriorate further due to the problem with sources of financing of the budget deficit in Russia.
