Russia hit civilian cars convoy with a missile in south, there are dead: photos

Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration said that people stood in line to leave the Russian-occupied territory and pick up their relatives, but Russian troops hit them with a rocket on September 30, 2022. At least 23 people were killed and another 28 were injured.

“Russian forces launched a missile attack on a civilian humanitarian convoy on the outskirts of the regional centre [Zaporizhzhia, south of Ukraine – ed.]. People were standing in line to leave the temporarily occupied territory to pick up their relatives and deliver the aid. There are dead and injured.”

It is noted that rescuers and doctors are working at the scene.

Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reported that there were also residents of Melitopol in the humanitarian convoy.

“This morning, the Russians attacked a convoy of civilian cars that were waiting to leave Zaporizhzhia in the direction of the temporarily occupied territories. People leave the regional centre every day to support their relatives, give vital medicines to the civilian population and return. So far, it is impossible to even count the number of dead and injured.

Later, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration reported that at least 23 people were killed and another 28 were injured, as a result of Russian attack. All victims are civilians.
