“I spoke by phone with the Chief of Defense Staff of the Canadian Armed Forces, General Wayne Donald Eyre. I informed my colleague about the situation at the front. It is tense, but completely under control.”

Valery Zaluzhnyi stated that he was concerned about the location of missile systems along the border of Ukraine from the side of Belarus, in particular at “Zyabrivka” airfield.

According to the Commander, the enemy continues to advance along the entire front line.

At the same time, the occupiers conduct about 700-800 shellings of Ukrainian military positions every day, using from 40 to 60 thousand rounds of ammunition.

The main efforts of the enemy are focused on pushing Ukrainian troops out of the Donetsk region.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces emphasized that the Russians continue to shell peaceful towns and villages of Ukraine.

He also thanked General Eyre for his help in the training of the Ukrainian military: “In the conditions of heavy hostilities, we feel a lack of teaching staff, because everyone who can hold a weapon and knows how to fight is in combat formations.”
