Russia carried out 4,500 missile strikes and more than 8,000 air raids on Ukraine

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening address on October 27, 2022, that Russian troops continued to attack peaceful Ukrainian cities from the air every day for the past 8 months. All this time, our sky is skillfully protected by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The head of state noted that the Russian Federation has carried out a total of 4,500 missile strikes and more than 8,000 air raids on Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also indicated that over the past two days, the Russian army had launched more than 30 Iranian kamikaze drones. However, Ukrainian soldiers prevented the breakthrough of Russian “vultures” deep into the country and shot down 23 “Shahed-136” drones.

In addition, the Kh-59 guided air missile, two K-52 attack helicopters and the Su-25 attack aircraft of Russian troops were turned into scrap metal.

“We are fighting, we will shoot down more,” the President of Ukraine added.
