People’s deputies included into the agenda a draft resolution on removal of former members of the Party of Regions from leading positions in committees, involved in voting for “dictatorial laws.”
278 parliamentarians voted for the resolution No. 1291, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The draft resolution envisages that all deputies, who voted for the laws of January 16, are released from leading positions in parliamentary committees.
Earlier, all representatives of the coalition spoke for removal of former Party of Regions members from leading positions in the committees.
“Deprival of deputies, who voted for dictatorial laws of January 16, of leading positions in the committees is a substantiated political decision. The People’s Front supports this proposal,” head of the People’s Front faction Oleksandr Turchynov noted.
Representatives of Batkivshchyna, Bloc of Petro Poroshenko, Radical Party of Oleh Liashko, Samopomich and Svoboda also supported this proposal.
