Putin: Savchenko acted as a fire coordinator

Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko, who was imprisoned in Russia for political reasons, acted as a fire coordinator when Russian journalists were killed in eastern Ukraine.
He said this during a press conference on Thursday.
“Savchenko was a fire coordinator,” Putin said.
He also noted that the only condition for the release of Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia was an acquittal.
“If it turns out during the trial that she was not involved in that, she will be released. If not, she will serve her punishment in accordance with the court ruling… Let’s see how the preliminary investigation proceeds and what conclusions are made by the court,” Putin said, when asked about the fate of political prisoners in Russia, in particular, Nadia Savchenko, Oleh Sentsov and 30 more people.
