Putin is personally responsible for killed civilians during the artillery shelling in Mariupol.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said in his statement.
“As a result of the barbaric bombardment in Mariupol, there are killed and wounded civilian Ukrainian citizens. The number of casualties is being confirmed now. Another bloody crime against humanity was committed today by the Russian military and their completely controlled gangs of terrorists. It was a direct realization of tasks set by Putin at the meeting of the Security Council of the Russian Federation yesterday. It is Putin’s personal responsibility for death, blood and suffering of the Ukrainians,” the document states.
Turchynov assured that Mariupol is guarded from the aggressor’s attacks.
“The enemy will receive a deserving response for his bloody crimes,” he said.
