“I am confident that it was not a Ukrainian missile or missile strike. I’m sure we should be and will be [participating in the investigation – ed.]. I want us to be fair and if it was the use of Ukrainian air defense, then I want that evidence. First the investigation, the access and the data that you have,” explained the Ukrainian President.

According to the President, he received reports from the command of the Armed Forces and the Air Force of Ukraine and “can’t help but trust them.”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy also believes that Ukraine should have been allowed to the site of the tragedy.

Earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov noted that Ukraine was ready to present the evidence of Russian trace at the site of the rocket explosion in Poland.

“We are advocating for a further detailed investigation into the incident [to be run jointly by Ukraine and Poland – ed.]. We are ready to provide our partners with all the evidence we have of the Russian trail,” said Oleksiy Danilov.

According to Ukraine’s President, Ukraine is a “human shield” for the whole of Eastern Europe, but he did not hear this from the West.

Currently, according to the President, Ukraine has not received an invitation to investigate the circumstances of the fall of the missile in Poland.
