Poroshenko compares terrorist attack in France with events in Donbas

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko sees no difference between a terrorist attack in France and terrorist attacks that are made in the occupied territories of Donbas.
Poroshenko said this during his visit to the French Embassy in Ukraine on Friday, January 9, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

“I’ve just had an opportunity to repeat the words of condolences to the French people, the French president, demonstrating three very deep feelings. The first feeling is deep sorrow which I, as president, express to France and the French people. The second is solidarity with France in the fight against terrorism. And the third is our unity, the unity between France, Ukraine and the EU in the fight against terrorism,” he said.

He added that Ukraine knows what this struggle represents itself.

“And I see no difference between the terrorist attack [in France] and the explosion in a bar in Kharkiv, a terrorist attack on the volunteers office in Odesa, or terrorist attacks that take place in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” Poroshenko said.
