President Petro Poroshenko on October 10 held a meeting in Kyiv with Head of the National Security Bureau of the Republic of Poland Pawel Soloch where the parties discussed the situation in Donbas, according to the president`s press service.
The President of Ukraine thanked Poland for supporting the decision of the European Council to prolong sanctions against Russia that must stay in force until the liberation of the occupied territories of Ukraine ”to motivate Russia to fulfill the Minsk agreements”.
The parties discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in military and military-technical sphere. They emphasized the importance of concluding the bilateral agreement on cooperation in the sphere of defense shortly.
They also noted successful operation of the Ukraine-Poland-Lithuania brigade, while the president expressed gratitude to the Polish side for the facilitation in the issue of professional training of Ukrainian officers and military doctors.
Petro Poroshenko urged to avoid politicization of historic background and emphasized the inadmissibility of anti-Ukrainian or anti-Polish sentiments that would only play into hands of the aggressor state.
The Head of State thanked Poland for its clear position on non-recognition of the legitimacy of the Russian parliamentary elections in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea.

Since learning more about the recent events of the Ukrainian people and their struggle for freedom and independence, the more I like them .l’m glad to see the movement to towards a more united front against “tsar putin’s ” “imperialistic expansionism”! We know the “tsar “has always wanted to restore the ussr to it’s former glory. Putting down revolts in the former states to annexation of the Crimea and the establishment of a warm water base in Syria. Until the Russian people remove him from power he puts them at risk of economic disaster and worse.
