Poland resumes small border traffic with Ukraine

Poland has resumed small border traffic with Ukraine, the press center of Ukraine`s State Border Service reported.

All the checkpoints are operating normally and the number of vehicles crossing the checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border has been increasing.

Small border traffic between Poland and Ukraine was suspended on July 4, 2016, as a safety precaution ahead of the NATO Summit and World Youth Day, which were held in the Polish capital.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry had stated that small border traffic with Poland would be resumed on August 2.
