The People’s Front political party formed its electoral list, headed by party leader Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk.
The list was made public on September 14, at the Second Party Congress, held in the Art Arsenal, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
As head of the People’s Front central headquarters Oleksandr Turchynov noted, he gave his second number to former commissioner for corrupt policy Tetiana Chornovol.
Thus, Turchynov is No.3 in the list. TOP-5 candidates also include former National Security and Defense Council Secretary Andriy Parubiy and Peacemaker battalion commander Andriy Teteruk.
The first ten also include Interior Minister Arsen Avakov, former Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Viktoria Syumar, MPs Vyacheslav Kyrylenko and Lilia Hrynevych and commander of the Dnipro-1 battalion Yuriy Bereza.
In addition, the People’s Front nominates many famous figures in districts, including director of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory Volodymyr Viatrovych, Maidan activist Mykhailo Havryliuk and Ukrainian champion Roman Virastuk.
In total, the People’s Front nominates maximum 225 candidates on its list.
Announcing the main points of the program, with which the political party goes to the elections, Yatseniuk emphasized three main objectives: to protect Ukraine from external aggression, defense against corruption and creating a front against poverty and social injustice.
