OSCE to focus on situation in Donbas next year – Serbian foreign minister

The situation in eastern Ukraine and the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis will be the focus of the OSCE next year.
Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said this during his visit to Kyiv, Radio Liberty reported.
“Ukraine, as well as the question of how to solve the crisis in Ukraine, will be a priority of our chairmanship of the OSCE next year. The experience and recent history of Yugoslavia and Serbia itself show how easily a conflict can be provoked and how difficult it can be overcome. We will demands that the parties to the conflict in Ukraine fulfill the provisions of the peace plan by President [Petro] Poroshenko and the Minsk agreements,” Dacic said.
He said that Serbia would maintain a political and diplomatic road to resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Dacic also proposed that OSCE envoy at the talks in Minsk Heidi Tagliavini be his special representative on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. She accepted this proposal.
