OSCE observers heading for Debaltseve

OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine has sent observers to Debaltseve for surveillance over the evacuation.
OSCE SMM spokesman Michael Bociurkiw said this at a press briefing on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“This morning SMM has sent a patrol to Debaltseve to oversee the evacuation of elderly people, women and children from this strategically important city,” Bociurkiw said.
He added that the SMM is closely following developments in Debaltseve where there are intense bombardments, but access to many hot spots is becoming more complex.
Bociurkiw also informed that this week the mission sent 20 new observers to the east of Ukraine. “Currently, the total number of observers is 372 people,” he said.
